Global Game Jam 2014
Totemon was Dragontale’s entry at the Global Jam Jam 2014.
The theme of the game jam was “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are”, and that’s why we decided to create a game with a totem that has feelings! I know, totally makes sense, right?
Totemon can be angry, happy and lonely. The gameplay is very simple. The player chooses the desirable feeling for Totemon and he acts accordingly. When Totemon is happy he can jump over obstacles, when he feels angry he breaks anything in his path and when he feels sad, he shrinks and can fit through holes. Kind of like Antman…
The game was much appreciated and we won the third prize, as it was voted by the jury.
